Position Overview: Electrical Field Service Technician in Automation
Step into an exciting career opportunity as an Electrical Field Service technician where you'll start your morning from home with your new UTE, mostly working days Monday-Friday. Our client is consistently rated as a top employer in their field. You'll play a pivotal role in maintaining and optimising state of the art Automation systems. Work at different impressive client sites, ensuring operational excellence in some of the most advanced intralogistics solutions available today.
Key Benefits:
Salary: $114,400 + Super + OT
Work car included – leave directly from home.
Hours: 6am-2pm or 7am-3pm Monday to Friday, you choose. – great work-life balance.
On-call: Every 3rd week from 2pm-6am, averaging only one call out a month. Allowance for on call is $35/day plus over time.

Responsibilities:
Perform daily maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability in high-paced environments.
Maintain and troubleshoot advanced equipment, including conveyor systems, robotics, and automated storage solutions.
React swiftly to breakdowns and implement preventive measures to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with internal teams to improve system designs and processes.
Report accurately using CMMS systems and contribute to long-term maintenance strategies.
Conduct onsite work handling cutting-edge automation technologies in industrial environments.
Qualifications:
A-Grade electrical license. Restricted Electrical license may be considered if there is considerable Automation experience.
Proven experience in Electrical and Mechanical maintenance, particularly with automated systems.
Expertise in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance for intralogistics equipment.
Familiarity with conveyor systems, PLCs, pneumatic systems and motor drives.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Dedication to safety, with an excellent understanding of OHS protocols.
A proactive attitude and passion for continuous improvement in advanced technology environments.
