The Opportunity

Join our O&M team at Sunraysia Solar Farm, south of Balranald, as an Electrician (Field Technician) on an attractive 8 days on, 6 days off roster. This hands-on role focuses on operations and maintenance (O&M), helping ensure the site performs at peak efficiency.

We are looking for candidates who live locally, or company carpooling vehicle from Swan Hill to site and back available.

What we offer:

Total package of up to $112,500 - $117,500 per annum + super

Breakdown: $100,000 - $105,000 base salary + $6,250 remote allowance + up to $6,250 performance bonus + super

Additional overtime and public holiday worked paid at award rates

Choose from our two roster options (both are 9.5 hour days + 30 min unpaid break):

8 days on, 6 days off roster

4 days on, 3 days off roster (includes being on-call (paid) every fourth weekend)

Your responsibilities as an Electrician (Field Technician) will be:

Performing routine maintenance on equipment

Diagnosing and troubleshooting various project systems issues

Developing standard operating documents for machine maintenance, operations and training

Overseeing and supervising sub-contractors

You may also be requested to travel to other solar farms for a pre-determined period of time to support or train

To be successful as our Electrician (Field Technician), you will have:

The ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, manuals and schematics

Valid electrical qualifications license

HV electrical qualification desirable

Valid Australian drivers license

Experience in electrical maintenance and repairing various types of electrical equipment with preferred experience in renewables and solar

Willingness for some roster flexibility for on call and emergency works where required

Sound computer skills

Ability to pass medical, drug, alcohol tests and Police Check
