Due to continued expansion and growth, they require an experienced and professional Administration Assistant to come and join the team.
About the Role
Reporting into the Administration Manager, the key function of the role is administration support to accountants with primarily responsibility being assisting the entire accounting team in delivering fast, friendly, and reliable services and to enhancing procedures, processes and technologies to enable the business to increase efficiency and deliver the best possible service to clients.
You will perform all administration tasks and use the skills necessary to complete requirements to the highest possible standards is this important and integral role for the office all whilst enjoying a fun, vibrant and inclusive environment.
Previous experience in an accounting admin support or professional financial services firm, is desirable, also having knowledge and experience in ASIC’s and ATO processes and familiar with CAS360 software is advantageous.
Core responsibilities
- Assisting Accountants with their administration requirements.
- Provide a strong level of all aspects of administration support to the team.
- Liaise with clients, make appointments and assisting client with queries where possible over phone.
- Answering phones and reception cover as required.
- Liaise with ASIC in administration preparations and registrations when and as directed by the accounting team.
- Liaise with ATO in administration, communication, and lodgement of tax returns as directed by the team of accountants and finance personal.
- Management of internal CRM system including input of new client details.
- Preparation of administration tasks for all types of entities including individuals, companies, partnerships, trusts as directed.
- General office and administration tasks as required.
Skills and experience
- Experience in a similar administration support position in an accounting or professional financial services firm would be beneficial.
- Experience in dealing with ASIC and ATO processes and procedures is highly desirable.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of products
- Knowledge of CAS360 and BGL software advantageous.
- Outstanding interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Demonstrated high level administrative skills.
- Excellent customer service skills and great team player.
- Highly professional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
What’s on offer.
- Attractive salary (65k – 70k) plus super negotiable based on experience.
- Mon – Fri 9.00am – 5.00pm
