NSW Government is looking for multiple Call Centre Operators to assist in their Travel and Recreation Infoline, in NSW.
We are seeking people who have had previous experience in customer service roles whether in administration, Call Centre, retail or similar environments. Strong email etiquette and ability to adapt to new software will be a distinct advantage for this work. You will need to be able to cope with a high-volume workload, in a fast-paced environment, and be able to hit the ground running once the 10–12-week training program has concluded.
Initial contract term until 20th February 2026
22nd August 2025 commencement date
Hybrid work available after training concludes, for candidates with access to high internet connection and speed
$35.80/ hour + super, for ordinary hours worked
7 hours/day, 35 hours/ week (on a rotating roster between operational hours of 6am-10pm) Mon - Sun, including public holidays
Must be able to commence work on the 22nd August 2025
As a Call or Contact Centre Operator, your primary tasks will focus on supporting customers with a variety of queries; gathering information, problem solving, offering advice; and communicating professionally to the customers.
You will:
provide timely and accurate information and advice to customers, to ensure positive customer experiences;
provide administrative services, respond to high-volume enquiries and complete a range of processing activities with accuracy and efficiency to support quality customer service outcomes.
professionally utilise the Microsoft office suite, including Teams, and government-specific software, with the assistance of your initial training
Your daily tasks will involve:

✔️ Resolving escalated issues, including complaints and correspondence
