The role:

They are actively seeking a Business Development Manager to sell their chemical products and solutions across diverse sectors, including mining, industrial, agricultural, and municipal government. Your responsibilities will include:

Working proactively to identify and monitor new business opportunities across Victoria.

Pursuing and following up on new leads/referrals generated from the sales team

Overseeing the entire sales process, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.

Cultivate and oversee relationships with current clients, evaluate existing contracts and pinpoint opportunities for upselling.

Participate in networking events to enhance brand awareness and expand market presence within your territory.

Staying informed about the latest industry trends and the market positioning of competitors.

Skills and experience needed:

Proven track record of success in a Business Development Management role, preferably within the water industry.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.

Strong ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.

Exceptional presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.

Ability to quickly learn and stay informed about product knowledge and industry developments.

Salary Expectations

$100,000 - $130,000 + Super + Company Car + Comms
