ABOUT THE COMPANY

Lotus People are proud to be partnering with a purpose-driven, values based organisation. This organisation plays a key role in driving positive change across the industry and is looking for a passionate and experienced P&C Advisor to join their collaborative team for a 6-month contract to cover a period of leave.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a diverse generalist role, offering hands-on experience across the full employee lifecycle, from end-to-end recruitment to supporting key people initiatives and driving continuous improvement throughout the organisation.
You’ll also play a vital part in broader people and culture activities, including wellbeing, WHS, learning, and compliance. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a varied HR role within a team that truly values collaboration and care.

Working closely alongside another P&C Advisor, this role offers the flexibility to work fully remote, with occasional meetings at their Sydney office.

Working Holiday Visa holders with Australian experience and a strong understanding of Australian employment law are encouraged to apply.

DUTIES

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes including onboarding
  • Provide day-to-day HR support and advice across the organisation
  • Support policy and procedure reviews in line with legislation
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across People, Culture & Safety
  • Contribute to learning, wellbeing, WHS, and employee engagement programs
  • Maintain accurate employee data and records using ELMO HRIS
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and be a first point of contact for employee queries

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Prior experience in a generalist HR or P&C role
  • Confident providing advice around policy, procedures, and general ER matters
  • Strong understanding of Australian HR legislation
  • Proactive, people-first and collaborative in approach
  • Available for an immediate start
