Reservations Supervisor

Here is your chance to spearhead a small team of Reservation Officers in our head office located in Eight Mile Plains on the South side of Brisbane. Southern Cross Motel Group owns and operates 16 motels across Eastern Australia, and we have a unique opportunity for a dynamic individual with a keen interest in customer service, an eye for detail and a desire to learn.

We are seeking a Reservations Supervisor to join our team, as our company continues to grow. We are looking for someone with a professional and mature attitude. You will be a key member of our company, helping us to support 16 properties throughout regional Queensland, New South Wales and the NT, contributing to a high standard of presentation, strong occupancy and excellent guest satisfaction.

The Role:

Champion our Groups and Tours Sector

Answer reservation calls and respond to email enquiries for all our motels

Daily audits of our motels - checking roll overs ensuring balancing

Provide quotes for group bookings

Administration, reporting and maintaining accurate database information

Liaise with on-site Property Managers when needed

Stay up-to-date with details and offerings across all our properties

Other ad-hoc duties, as time progresses and you make the role your own

What we need from you:

Excellent communication skills and a great telephone manner

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and Outlook)

Excellent organisational, time management and interpersonal skills

The ability and desire to achieve great outcomes for our guests and the business in general

A self-starter with a 'can-do' attitude

Prior experience in a busy central reservations environment would be beneficial

Experience using a PMS (ie. Guestpoint) beneficial - however training will be provided

Previous experience working in the Hospitality/Tourism Industry

Previous experience in reservations, front desk, or customer service roles is a plus
