Your Role: Reservations Assistant – Connecting Guests with Adventures

As a Reservations Assistant, you'll be on the front lines, ensuring smooth booking processes and delivering exceptional service to our valued customers. We have Part-Time and Casual positions available.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service & Bookings: Assist customers via phone, email, and in-person, accurately managing bookings using our reservation system.

Itinerary Coordination: Ensure customers receive detailed itineraries and all essential tour information.

Group Booking Management: Handle inquiries and coordinate logistics for school groups, corporate events, and custom tours.

Data Entry & Reporting: Maintain accurate booking records and assist with generating reservation reports.

Communication: Collaborate with the Reservations Supervisor to resolve booking-related issues and ensure seamless customer experiences.

Quality Assurance: Uphold Tropic Wings' high standards for safety, quality control, and eco-friendly practices.

What We're Looking For: Your Skills & Qualities

We're seeking customer-focused individuals with a keen eye for detail and a passion for travel!

Skills & Experience:

Customer Service Excellence: A commitment to providing outstanding service.

Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and logistical coordination abilities.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve issues efficiently and professionally.

Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Experience with RESPAX is highly desirable!

Prior Experience: Previous reservations or sales experience is an advantage.

Local Knowledge: Familiarity with Tropical North Queensland is beneficial.

Availability:

Must be flexible and available for peak tourism periods.

Must be a local resident in the Cairns area due to the length of training provided.
