Great Adventures, part of the award-winning Quicksilver Group, is seeking a dedicated Reservations (?) Supervisor to oversee and support our busy reservations team in Cairns. About the role
Working closely with the Reservations Manager, your key responsibilities will involve:
Supporting the day-to-day supervision of the reservations team, providing guidance, training and mentoring to ensure high levels of performance and service delivery.
Coordinating and managing staff rosters to ensure effective coverage during peak periods, adjusting as required in line with operational needs and employee availability.
Ensuring all reservations are processed accurately, with relevant guest preferences and special requirements effectively communicated to internal stakeholders to support a seamless customer experience.
Managing guest enquiries and feedback in a courteous, timely and effective manner, ensuring all concerns are resolved in accordance with company guidelines and to the guest’s full satisfaction.
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all products, services, pricing and promotions to effectively support the team and respond to customer queries.
What we are looking for
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in reservations within the hotel or tourism sector (desirable).
Experience with Respax and RMS Property Management System (desirable).
Strong cash handling and reconciliation skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with both external guests and internal teams.
Proven ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating sound decision-making and the capacity to assess situations and make balanced decisions within established guidelines.
Flexibility to work a roster that includes some weekends.
