About the Opportunity: Manager, Transformation Delivery Office

WorkCover is entering a pivotal phase of strategic delivery, guided by a refreshed 2030 Strategy and empowered executive leadership. As Manager – Transformation Delivery Office, you will play a key leadership role in shaping how delivery happens at WorkCover by establishing, embedding, and evolving the enterprise delivery framework and supporting teams to succeed.

Reporting to the Senior Manager - Delivery, as Manager Transformation Delivery Office, you'll lead a team of analysts, coordinators and a Delivery Office Lead to build, scale and mature the core delivery processes, governance and tooling that empower our project and program teams across the enterprise. This is a role for a forward-thinking leader who brings operational excellence to life through robust systems, practical tools, and a passion for capability uplift and quality delivery. Your focus will be enabling delivery performance, providing visibility, insights and oversight across a diverse portfolio of initiatives — from major transformations to continuous improvement projects.

You’ll also play a key role in building a connected, high-performing delivery culture, ensuring that delivery standards evolve with our business needs, and that teams are set up for success. You’ll also contribute to:

• Establish and lead the Transformation Delivery Office, building the foundational governance, methodology and tooling for scalable, consistent, and value-driven delivery
• Drive portfolio-level visibility and reporting, enabling enterprise awareness of performance, risks, and delivery health
• Uplift delivery practices and capabilities across the organisation through training, coaching, and practical support
• Lead delivery assurance and quality reviews, ensuring alignment to frameworks and continuous improvement in delivery standards
• Partner with senior leaders across Digital and Technology, EPMO, and business domains to ensure delivery support meets strategic and operational needs
• Optimise delivery resourcing, support financial tracking, and manage portfolio dependencies, risks, and progress

It’s a pivotal and influential role – ideal for someone who brings structure to complexity, connects strategy to execution, and thrives on making delivery simpler, smarter and more effective for teams and stakeholders alike.

A bit about you:

• You’re a seasoned leader with 12+ years of project/portfolio management or PMO experience with at least 8+years managing project management offices, centres of excellence or similar centralised delivery functions within large scale environments.
• You’ve helped build and scale delivery frameworks and have deep experience enabling successful delivery of complex transformation and change programs. You coach and uplift others and take pride in developing delivery maturity across the enterprise.
• You’re confident in delivery governance and lifecycle frameworks, resource planning, and portfolio reporting. You know how to balance compliance with flexibility and can tailor delivery approaches to suit varying needs, while maintaining consistency, rigour, and alignment to strategic outcomes.
• You’re a strong communicator who builds trusted relationships and brings clarity to senior stakeholders through insightful reporting and portfolio-level insights.
• You care about delivering value, bring a continuous improvement mindset and a passion for enabling teams to work better, faster, and with purpose.
• You hold tertiary qualifications in business, project management or similar discipline with certifications in Project Management, Program Management and Portfolio Management (PRINCE2, P3O highly regarded)
