Our Assistant Front Office Manager is a critical position to the overall success of our Boutique Hotel, helping Front Office Manager with daily hotel operation. The Reef House Adults Retreat specialize in planning Escapes for Adults and Couples is highly inclusive and offer exclusive benefits for our house guests such as Pool Butler, In room private dining, Dinning under the stars, Guest Cocktail making classes, Guest Wine Tasting, Yoga at the Beach, Aqua aerobic by the pool and many more.

We need our Assistant Front Office Manager to ensure each day is executed to perfection delivering memorable Reef House experiences to our in house guests, something which cannot be created elsewhere.
Perfect candidate will assist Front Office Manager with day to day operation to ensure business standards are meet, maximized profitability and excellent guest experience delivered.

Job tasks and responsibilities
Ensure each day is run to perfection
Assist Front Office Manager in daily hotel operation
Effective supervision of all guests arrivals and departures, ensuring room allocations and check in/out process follow set procedures and are customer focused
Full utilisation of the Front Office system, ensuring accuracy in use and a range of accurate reports are produced to meet operational needs
Supervision of Front Desk services including porter services, booking daily tours, organising airport transfers, helping with luxury concierge tasks, assisting with restaurant bookings, helping with curating guest experience
Operation in an effective night audit function in conjunction with Financial Controller
Ordering office stationary for Front Office and other hotel departments
Helping Front Office Manager with staff training
Regular liaison with Maintenance and Housekeeping Team ensuring any requests are completed quickly, focusing on guests needs as priority
Daily efficient Telephone functions and reception email correspondence management
Dealing with customer complaints and problem resolving
Daily liaison with Escape Planning Department to ensure accuracy in room allocation and maximising of yield
Be proactive in controlling cost being fully aware of forecasted business and targeted profitability whilst maintaining standards
Skills and experience
Knowledge of Opera Cloud or Opera PMS preferable
Microsoft Word and Excel Knowledge
Excellent time management skills
Experience in a luxury environment
Exceptional communication skills and customer service flair
2 to 3 years experience in a similar role
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends, evenings and public holidays
Unlimited work rights in Australia
