About the role
Join a well established manufacturing business, operating across Australia and overseas in their Brisbane based, state of the art head office. Due to internal promotion, they are now seeking a commercially minded accountant looking to further develop their analytical and business partnering skills in this broad role. The business has gone through several changes in recent years, enjoying a period of growth. With further plans for new system improvements and business initiatives, they require a diligent, commercial corporate analyst to support the future strategic direction of the team.

The role
The position requires someone who is looking to develop and learn from your managers and stakeholders whilst being happy to work under their own steam, liaising between operations and finance, and be able to be a link between finance and strategy. The role offers a good range of commercial decision making support, high level responsibilities, as well as some hands-on, detailed analysis where you can really make a difference. You will provide general support to the operational managers in terms of budgeting and forecasting and play a pro-active role in understanding key customer profitability, margins, and high level of support to the operational team. Future potential acquisitions, due diligence and required integration could also be part of your responsibilities in the future.

The Candidate
You will be at least degree qualified and commenced/ looking to commence CPA/CA, demonstrating experience in communicating with various levels of the business and providing insights into the numbers you generate. A hands on team, you'll be confident in your EOM skills and supporting your team to drive financial performance and ongoing system and operational efficiencies. A background in corporate finance, business partnering, or strong modelling skills will be highly desirable in this forward looking position.
