Permanent full-time role

We currently have an opportunity for a Greenkeeper to join our Infrastructure and Liveability Department.
In the role of Greenkeeper you will:
- Ensure Councils sports fields are maintained to a satisfactory level
- Assist the Parks and Gardens section with maintenance work for public reserves and Council property
- Protect and promote to the public an image of Council as being both courteous and efficient.
What we offer...
- Permanent full-time role with a fortnightly RDO
- Commencing annual salary from $70,119 to $77,306
(salary is dependent on qualifications, skills and experience) - Progressive annual salary up to $85,231
- Plus 12% superannuation.
What you'll need to be successful in the role...
- Qualifications in Certificate III Horticulture (Turf Management) or equivalent
- A minimum Class C Drivers Licence
- A WHS Construction Induction White Card
- ChemCert Certificate and experience in the safe application of herbicides on playing fields and reserves
- Experience in the operation and maintenance of required plant and equipment
- Experience reading and interpreting detailed plans and work documents.
A merit list may be created for any similar roles that arise within the next six months. Future roles may include permanent part-time, full-time and casual arrangements.
