About the role
GHG Turf Services team, based at the Fairfield Showground, have been recently awarded the maintenance contract at Fairfield golf course. We are looking for an experienced greenkeeper to help us bring the golf course up to GHG standard and ensure our outdoor spaces are well-maintained and visually appealing for our clients and visitors.
What you'll be doing
Carrying out regular mowing, edging, and general maintenance of golf course, sportsturf, and amenity turf surfaces
Maintaining flower beds, shrubs, and other planted areas
Applying fertilisers, pesticides, and other turf maintenance practices as required
Identifying and addressing any plant health issues
Operating and maintaining turf maintenance tools and equipment
Assisting with larger facility improvement projects
Adhering to all health and safety procedures at all times
What we're looking for
Minimum 5 years as a Greenkeeper in a similar role with golf course experience a plus
Strong knowledge of horticulture, plant care, and landscaping techniques
Ability to operate and maintain a variety of Turf maintenance equipment
Good physical fitness and stamina to perform manual outdoor work
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Relevant qualifications in Turf Management
