Our Student Experience portfolio is comprised of dedicated teams including the Future Student Team, Outreach Team, Student Enquiry, Scholarships, Student Transition, Student Support and Career functions. Your New Role!

As the Future Student Officer - Regional, based out of Bunbury / Busselton or Albany, you will play a key role in shaping Murdoch University's domestic recruitment and engagement efforts. You'll support the planning and delivery of diverse initiatives aimed at inspiring and attracting future students from regional areas.

In this role, you'll work closely with the Program Coordinator (Regional and Pathway Engagement) to build and strengthen relationships with regional secondary schools, Regional University Centres (RUCs), Suburban University Centres (SUCs) and participants in our Preparation Pathway Programs.

This Fixed Term (12 Months) | Part time (18.75 hours per week) attracts a remuneration of $89K - $107K (pro rata) plus 17% employer superannuation contributions.

Selection Criteria:

  • A degree with relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering engagement activities aimed at secondary school students and their influencers.
  • Strong ability to build, maintain and enhance relationships with school and university students, staff and other stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting events for diverse age groups and backgrounds.
  • Proven ability to work as a member of a team, and independently
  • Must hold a current c class driver's licence and have access to a vehicle for regional travel. Travel allowances will be provided.

Please note, the successful candidate will be required to undertake a Department of Education Criminal Record Screening check and have a valid working with children check or the ability to register for one in accordance with the University's Employee Background Checks Procedure.
