An exciting career opportunity exists for an experienced, dedicated and hard working Maintenance Fitter at our Eagle Farm site.

This is an exciting time to join the business as we transition to the new purpose built State of the Art Factory currently being built at the Port of Brisbane.

Key Responsibilities

Support Engineering plant reliability inclusive of improvements through RCA failure analysis activities

Ensuring all engineering activities is compliant with People Safety & Food Safety standards.

Support Policies/KPIs that are provided drive plant performance with food safety focus while driving cost effective maintenance and plant efficiency.

Supports the planning and execution of the Asset Care Maintenance Strategy.

Deliver trade quality tasks for the site asset management by working closely with site planner and also ensures contractors provide a service that is safe, quality driven and value for money

Provide shift with expertise on plant/electrical/mechanical and building issues to Production coordinators, maintenance coordinator, Engineering manager and sustains shift performance targets.

Identifies and support/engage own technical development opportunities though a structured Skills Matrix.

Engage in Asset Life Cycle plans for extended asset reliability & performance

Proactively develops improvement opportunities and drive solutions to problems

Helps support days’ support team by driving key initiatives that improves the sites overall downtime targets and OEE

Troubleshoot complete control systems/plant and electrical systems to locate malfunctions & defects down to component level, repair and replace as needed

Assist other tradesman to develop maintenance skills

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

Mechanical Trade certificate

Systematic understanding of ISO Environmental

Strong acumen in process systems engineering

Attention to detail

Ability to manage competing priorities

Knowledge pneumatic/hydraulic controls systems to include maintenance and fault finding on these systems or High level of core Fitter/Mechanical competencies

Good verbal and written communication skills

Previous FMCG experience

Ability to problem solve under pressure
