Are you an experienced Maintenance Fitter looking for a long-term opportunity with a stable, reputable company? Join National Glass, a key division of the Bradnam’s Group, one of Australia’s leading manufacturers and distributors of glass and aluminium products.

Operating from our large processing facility in Geebung, National Glass services the Queensland and Northern NSW markets with high-performance architectural and safety glass solutions. We’re seeking motivated Maintenance Fitters to join our maintenance team and keep our modern production lines running efficiently.

About the Role:

In this hands-on role, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring plant uptime and operational efficiency. You will work with a variety of automated machinery, including high-end European glass processing equipment.

Your responsibilities will include:

Preventative and reactive maintenance of manufacturing equipment

Troubleshooting mechanical faults and identifying long-term solutions to improve equipment reliability

Assisting with continuous improvement initiatives in the maintenance program

Ensuring adherence to safety procedures and company policies

Contributing to a positive, team-focused maintenance environment

Available Shifts:

Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Monday to Friday, optional Saturday shifts as required

What You’ll Bring:

Trade qualifications as a Fitter (or relevant mechanical trade)

Proven experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment

Strong mechanical aptitude, especially with automated equipment

Experience with CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems)

Sound computer skills to interact with machine interfaces

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Commitment to workplace health and safety

Excellent communication and fault-finding skills

Glass processing or CNC machinery experience is highly regarded

Competitive hourly rate based on experience : $48.20 - $51.66 per hour, plus penalties, allowances
