About the role
As Early Childhood Teacher and an advocate for Montessori Education, you will be responsible for Cycle One Kindergarten Classroom of children aged between 2.5 to 5 years old. This includes:
develop and maintain meaningful relationships and partnerships with children, families and fellow team members
being a strategic thinker who can support and communicate in partnership with all stakeholders the vision of Cubbyhouse Montessori
being knowledgeable and experienced implementing best practices in Montessori and an awareness of contemporary education
create strong alliances and relationships with the community and surrounding networks
support room educators in their Montessori journey
understand and interpret the relevant industry regulations and legislation, including, NQS, EYLF and QKLG and the Montessori philosophy
driven to provide an exceptional quality Kindergarten programme
ensure that the room presentation is maintained to the highest standard.
Qualifications and experience
An ACECQA recognised degree in Education (Early Childhood)
AMI/AMS Montessori diploma or equivalent recognised Montessori qualification (3-6 years age group)
Experience within the Early Childhood sector
Experience in a Montessori setting
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications, and Child Protection Training
Current Working with Children Check
A strong inclusive team member
Ability to effectively communicate with all stakeholders
Articulate well verbally and in writing

1 year contract starting the beginning of Term 4, can be either full time (38hrs per week) or part time (27.5hrs per week). Must be available 9am-3pm Monday to Friday during school term.
Above award salary package commensurate with experience and qualifications

Permanent part-time or full-time, ability to work 4 or 5 days a week or a 9 day fortnight
