About the role

Shared Beginnings Paddington is seeking an experienced and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our dynamic team in Paddington, QLD 4064. This full-time role will involve providing high-quality education and care for children in our early learning centre. As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will be responsible for creating engaging and developmentally-appropriate learning environments that support the holistic growth and wellbeing of our young learners.

What you'll be doing

• Plan and deliver stimulating, play-based educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework
• Observe, document and assess children's learning and development to inform your teaching practice
• Establish positive relationships with children and families, fostering a sense of community and belonging
• Collaborate with the wider teaching team to ensure consistent, high-quality care and education
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment
• Actively participate in professional development opportunities to continually improve your practice
• Comply with all relevant legislation, regulations and centre policies

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• Current teacher registration or eligibility for teacher registration in Queensland
• Demonstrated experience working as an Early Childhood Teacher, preferably in a long day care setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children and families
• Passion for creating engaging, play-based learning experiences that support children's holistic development
• Commitment to staying up-to-date with best practices in early childhood education
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
