What You’ll Do

Lead your classroom with enthusiasm, creativity, and care

Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and your team

Create a calm, inspiring, and inclusive learning environment

Mentor and collaborate with colleagues, sharing your expertise

Develop and implement a high-quality Transition to School Program

Confidently document and tailor learning to meet each child’s needs

Demonstrate knowledge of the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines, and Transition Statements

Maintain smooth classroom operations and flexible routines

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or ACECQA-approved equivalent (ECT)

Current Blue Card, & First Aid

Strong understanding and best practice in early years education

Excellent communicator who thrives on building relationships

Values efficiency, reliability, experience, and friendliness

About Us

My Kids Early Learning Mackay is a new service located by the CBD of Mackay. Our centre has been thoughtfully designed to nurture the education of the children who attend while also prioritising the well-being of our staff.

We provide an entire first floor dedicated to supporting our team, featuring breakout rooms, programming nooks, a staff kitchen, and relaxation areas.
