About the role

We are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to join our dedicated team at Shared Beginnings Kenmore, a highly regarded early learning centre in Kenmore, Queensland. As an ECT, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational journey of our youngest learners, fostering their cognitive, social, and emotional development. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive, collaborative environment and contribute to the continued excellence of our early childhood program.

What you'll be doing

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework
• Observe, assess, and document children's progress, using this information to tailor learning experiences
• Build positive, nurturing relationships with children and their families, promoting open communication and collaboration
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that meets all regulatory and quality standards
• Collaborate with the wider education team to support the overall development and wellbeing of all children in our care
• Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously enhance your skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent
• Registered or eligible for registration as an Early Childhood Teacher in Queensland
• Minimum 2 years' experience working in an early childhood setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children and families
• Demonstrated understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and the ability to design and implement engaging educational programs
• Commitment to creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the evolving needs of young children
