The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a sales-driven professional to join the business as an Account Manager / Specification Representative. You will be responsible for generating and securing specifications, working on long-cycle commercial projects across key market segments.
This is not a transactional sales role — it’s strategic, relationship-driven, and focused on influencing the early stages of project development through to final delivery. You’ll be a trusted advisor to architects, designers, and developers, helping them bring design visions to life using premium decorative flooring products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive product awareness and expand market share through effective relationship management
- Drive commercial growth by building a strong project specification pipeline
- Develop and manage relationships with A&D firms
- Attend industry events, networking functions, and maintain a strong presence in the A&D community
- Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting, CRM updates, and reporting
- Advocate for the brand’s value proposition and design appeal throughout the sales cycle
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience in trade/commercial sales within building materials
- Proven success in specification sales targeting architects, designers, and developers
- Design-conscious with a passion for premium decorative interior products
- Excellent communicator, presenter, and relationship-builder
- Strategic mindset as well as CRM proficient
- Autonomous and driven, but thrives in a collaborative team environment
- Valid driver’s licence required
