Our client is a rapidly expanding, Australian-owned waste management business with over 20 years of industry experience. They are seeking a driven and outgoing Business Development Manager to join their Bulk Hazardous Liquid division, focusing on growth across the Melbourne region.

We are seeking candidates coming from liquid & non liquid waste, industrial manufacturing & other industrial sectors.

The Role:

• Drive new business activity across Melbourne for the Bulk Hazardous Liquid waste division targeting a wide range of industries.
• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, leveraging relationships across industrial clients and hazardous liquid waste producers.
• Collaborate with internal technical, compliance and operational teams to deliver tailored solutions.
• Represent the business in a professional manner at client meetings, site visits and industry events.

Your Background:

• Proven experience in new business development across industrial sector.
• Self-driven and comfortable operating without a portfolio of existing accounts.
• Understanding of waste management and/or hazardous liquid waste will be highly regarded.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive and the ability to work both autonomously and as a team
