Qualifications & experience

The Candidates must possess extensive experience within the NDIS industry, preferably in a managerial capacity. They should have a proven track record of leading teams, driving business growth, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

The ideal Manager must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders, including clients, staff, and external partners. Cultural competency and an appreciation of individuality within and between cultural systems are paramount.

A comprehensive understanding of disability support services, NDIS guidelines, and legislation is crucial for success in this role. Familiarity with Plan Management will be highly regarded.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership abilities, with the capability to inspire and motivate a diverse team. Strong coaching and mentoring skills are essential for fostering a high-performing and collaborative work environment.

Tertiary qualification in Community services, Allied Health related disciples, Disability and aged care. - 2 years experience in Disability sector and NDIS

Tasks & responsibilities

Team Management and Leadership-The successful NDIS Manager will be responsible for leading, building, and coaching a high-performing team. They will provide guidance and support to ensure effective and high-quality service provision

Manager will establish networks to promote business growth and development. They will actively seek opportunities to expand service provision and build strategic partnerships. Balanced approach is required and evidence-based management of disability support services with focus on business outcomes

The Manager will Possess understanding of NDIS guideline and requirements and will play a key role in ensuring compliance, regulatory and risk management standards are achieved. Extensive experience within the NDIS sector is essential for this role.

Working with a variety of formal and informal support networks such as Supported Independent Living Providers, Family Members, Advocates, Support Coordinators, NDIS plan Coordinators in Developing and implementing successful plans for facilitating the transition of customers with complex support needs into long term suitable accommodation

Ensure that all employees receive training, instruction and information to enable them to perform their work.

Communicate the company’s NDIS policies and processes to all employees and is also responsible for communicating risks and responsibilities for NDIS system.

Take reasonable care for your own health and safety.

Report any incident or hazards to the relevant Manager or Supervisor.

Keep informed of the contents of the NDIS system and apply it to daily work.

Working with customers and Supported Independent Living partners to successfully improve housing outcomes for customers.

Building rapport and partnerships with support agencies; including managing agreements and contractual obligations
