Are you passionate about delivering exceptional student services and contributing to meaningful academic milestones? Victoria University (VU) is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Awards and Graduations Officer to join our dynamic Student Administration team.

About the Role

As the Awards and Graduations Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the coordination and delivery of critical student lifecycle services including graduation documentation, award verification, and graduation ceremony logistics. You'll be the go-to expert in one or more areas of awards and graduations, ensuring smooth and high-quality service to students, staff, and partners.

Key Duties:

An example of your responsibilities or duties you may perform will include:

Produce and issue academic transcripts, testamurs, AHEGS, and other official documents.

Ensure students meet all policy and compliance requirements for graduation.

Respond to verification requests from employers and external bodies.

Support graduation ceremonies, including preparation and on-the-day event logistics.

Work across teams and with stakeholders including Colleges and offshore partners to ensure consistent, high-quality service.

Contribute to process improvements and system testing as needed.

About You

You are a highly organised team player with a strong customer service mindset. You thrive in dynamic environments, are digitally savvy, and bring a continuous improvement approach to your work.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Relevant qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in administration or student services.

Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

Experience using systems such as Student One, RightNow, and My eQuals is highly desirable.

A proactive, solutions-focused attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
