About the Opportunity
The Customer Support Officer's role is to support the efficient functioning of the organisation by providing accurate help and first-time resolutions to both internal and external Council customers, working within a "one stop shop" environment at the Madden Avenue and Deakin Avenue Service / Call Centres.

What you will bring
Ideally the successful applicant will have the following:

Demonstrated experience in the field of Customer Service delivery.

High standard of verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to liaise confidently with members of the public and members of staff.

Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the accurate operation of various computer applications, including the Microsoft Office Suite, Customer Relationship Management Software and Electronic Document Management Systems.

Demonstrated appreciation of need for confidentiality and discretion.

Experience in Call Centre operations.

Experience in cash handling, and in the use of computerised cash receipting systems.

Hold a current satisfactory Police Check or willingness to obtain.

Salary and conditions

The position is classified within Band 4 of Council’s Current Enterprise Agreement commencing at $44.6681 per hour plus statutory superannuation.
