Agrimate Fencing is a fast-moving commercial fencing company servicing civil and construction projects across Perth and regional WA. We’re known for our reliability, quick turnaround times, and strong values.

With large-scale developer clients and a growing number of projects, we’re looking to strengthen our quoting and pre-construction team. This is a hands-on role with real accountability — ideal for someone who’s sharp with numbers, confident with people, and wants to play a key role in winning and shaping great projects.

We’re now looking for a proactive Estimator / Sales Consultant to join our high-performing team and work alongside our existing Account Manager/Estimator. You’ll be joining a growing quoting function — not starting from scratch — with shared knowledge, support, and momentum already in place. Career progression is available for the right person.

The Opportunity

You’ll own the quote process from start to finish — from reviewing plans and walking sites, to pricing work accurately and helping the Ops team get it delivered. Your role is critical to maintaining our margins and our reputation.

This isn’t just a pricing role. You’ll be working alongside another highly experienced estimator speaking to site managers, PMs, and engineers. You’ll need to ask the right questions, get clear on the scope, and build trust through precision and follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

Quote Delivery & Accuracy

Prepare quotes based on site visits, scope documents, or plans

Price accurately and protect margin by spotting risk and grey areas early

Review drawings and specs and ask smart questions to avoid guesswork

Client Communication & Follow-Up

Be the first point of contact for quoting queries

Follow up open quotes and manage feedback loops with clients

Build strong working relationships with PMs, site managers, and engineers

Handover & Internal Communication

Ensure smooth handover to Project Managers and Ops once jobs are won

Support variations and price adjustments as required

Work with the Operations team to close the feedback loop and improve quoting accuracy over time

Supplier & System Coordination

Liaise with suppliers and subs to maintain pricing data

Keep internal quote systems and cost templates up to date

What You Bring

Experience estimating / quoting in fencing, construction, or civil (ideally 5+ yrs)

Strong communication skills – confident on the phone and in-person

Can read plans and think clearly under time pressure

High attention to detail and strong numerical instinct

Self-motivated, fast-moving, and willing to own your work

Bonus if you know fences, how they are built and how long installers take under different conditions to install the the varied components: Colorbond, chainwire, garrison, rural or temp fencing
