About the Client
Our client is a global leader in fluid management solutions, specialising in peristaltic pumps and associated technologies for critical industries such as pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, water treatment, and mining. About the role
We’re seeking a motivated and technically minded Sales Engineer on behalf of our client to help grow their product portfolio within the industrial sector. You’ll establish and manage customer relationships across Australia, drive sales strategies, deliver product solutions, and support marketing and training activities. This role requires a strong understanding of fluid handling systems, a results-driven mindset, and the ability to work autonomously within a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Drive sales of products across the industrial sector in Australia
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants, and contractors
Identify and specify solutions for key projects and upcoming tenders
Deliver technical training, presentations, and product demonstrations
Track and report on market trends, competitor activity, and field trials
Update CRM and maintain accurate records of customer interactions
Representing the brand at industry exhibitions and events
Collaborate with internal teams to provide technical support and feedback
Skills and Experience Required
4–5 years of experience in sales or business development (fluid handling or related)
Engineering qualification or strong technical/commercial background
Experience with pumps, fluid technology, or industrial equipment preferred
Proven ability to manage accounts and close sales opportunities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ERP systems
Comfortable working independently and managing a national territory
Willingness to travel nationally and occasionally internationally
