As the Senior Data Engineer, you will lead the design and development of a Data Lake environment working, working with an experience team to deliver data and reporting requirements to the business

Within the role you will:

▪ Be highly skilled in delivering and supporting a large scale data solutions.

▪ Take responsibility for the design and implementation of a company data lake.

▪ Advise and support a team of specialist in delivering high quality reporting outcomes.

▪ Have experience understanding data privacy and security challenges to be addressed in a health based service.

▪ Take on leadership functions including assisting with strategic planning and reporting on team activities.

Technical expertise:

Strong experience in data engineering and cloud-based data lakes (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

Proficiency in SQL, ETL development (SSIS, stored procedures), and data modelling.

Experience in machine learning model deployment.

Solid understanding of data privacy and security requirements in healthcare settings

Leadership & soft skills:

Demonstrated leadership and the ability to coordinate a team of peers.

Excellent time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

A proactive, service-oriented approach to teamwork and stakeholder engagement.
