The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Director to unify and develop diverse technical teams across APAC. You will provide strategic technical leadership combined with commercial acumen to drive high-quality delivery, team development, and business growth. This role will integrate teams including software, cloud engineering, data engineering, web development, and automation into a cohesive technical delivery unit, fostering innovation and operational excellence while working with a top-tier global digital partner known for cutting-edge solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and consolidate multidisciplinary technical teams-including software, cloud engineering (with GCP preferred), data engineering, web development, and automation-into a unified delivery unit across APAC.
• Develop and execute strategic plans for team retention, skill development, and career progression, ensuring balanced seniority and necessary certifications.
• Anticipate and plan for future skill needs, particularly in cloud platforms, emerging technologies, and modern development practices.
• Establish and maintain robust QA processes, governance frameworks, and best practices to ensure high-quality, timely, and scope-aligned project delivery.
• Allocate and manage team resources effectively to optimize workloads, capacity, and project outcomes while maintaining a collaborative and innovative team culture.
• Drive process automation and efficiency improvements to scale delivery capabilities across projects and regions.
• Set clear expectations for internal teams and clients, ensuring strong alignment and satisfaction throughout engagements.
• Optimize utilization rates and profitability through strategic resource planning and effective cost management.
• Actively contribute to pre-sales activities, including solution design, project estimation, and client pitches, supporting business development efforts.
• Promote best practices and repeatable delivery models across teams to ensure consistency and scalability of services.
• Collaborate with partners on joint technical initiatives, research and development opportunities, and funding strategies.
• Shape long-term technical and business strategies, staying up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to guide team direction and skill readiness.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster adoption of new tools, methodologies, and innovative solutions.
