Civil Engineer

Location: Naval Base, WA

Tutt Bryant Heavy Lift & Shift provide crane hire, heavy lifting and specialised transport solutions throughout Australia. We offer fleet hire and logistic solutions to organisations in construction, mining, refineries, marine, water supply, roads, rails, energy and power, commercial, infrastructure to natural resources extraction.

Our key operation centres are strategically located in Brisbane, Perth, Melbourne, Darwin, Karratha and the NSW Hunter Region for maximum accessibility, and we are currently seeking a professional Civil Engineer to bolster our national presence from our Perth Office.

The ideal candidate will pride themselves on their high level of accuracy and ability to think outside the square.

The skills and experience required for these roles are:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 2 years full-time practical experience in planning, design, oversight of assembly, erection, commissioning, operation and maintenance of Cranes, Transport and Lifting Operations;

· Experience in determining construction methods, materials and quality standards, including the preparation and design of Transport Studies and Crane Lift Studies;

· Proficiency in AutoCAD or other engineering design programs;

· Knowledge and understanding of the principals of design of items for specific lifts and transport movements;

· Effective verbal and written communication of strategy, planning, results and issues to senior management and the business;

· Experience in organising and directing subordinates and site labour;

· Preparation, submission and approval of project plans; and

· Working with the Business Development team on developing and preparing tenders and proposals to a technical level for submission.

An attractive remuneration package is on offer for this full-time position with a base salary of $105,000 - $115,000 per annum (depending on the level of experience) and other company-provided items and benefits.
