Key Responsibilities:
Investigate and report on civil compliance issues relating to public infrastructure.
Inspect stormwater systems, verges, footpaths, and crossovers to ensure compliance with relevant permits and approvals.
Provide technical input on development-related applications, including crossovers.
Liaise with contractors, residents, and internal departments to ensure standards are upheld.
Respond to maintenance requests and attend after-hours callouts where required.
Ensure civil works comply with local laws, engineering standards, and policies.
Contribute to the development of compliance procedures and frameworks.
Represent the local authority professionally in the field and during community engagement.
About You:
Holds a valid White Card (Construction Induction Training) and C-Class Driver’s Licence.
Able to provide or obtain a National Police Clearance.
Strong understanding of civil construction standards and local law compliance.
Skilled in interpreting engineering and technical drawings.
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and conflict resolution skills.
Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience:
Certificate or Diploma in Civil Construction, Engineering, or Compliance (or working towards it).
Traffic Management Accreditation.
Experience in civil works, inspections, or contractor supervision.
