My client is an established accounting firm who are seeking a Business Services Manager to join their Business Services practice. This firm has a network that expands across NSW and are currently looking to grow the team. They service a diverse range of clients from start-ups, family groups, SMEs, consolidated groups to international clients.

Some responsibilities include:

Managing a fee base of approximately $800k

Overseeing a team of 3 accountants

Preparation and review of income tax returns for all entities and all other compliance requirements

Finalising complex financial accounts

Preparation and analysis of management reports

Provision of tax advice on issues such as FBT, Div7A, CGT, GST, PSI and more

Tax planning and forecasting, succession planning and restructuring advice

Train, mentor and delegate to team members

Setting and monitoring KPIs, WIP, productivity, budgets and deadlines

Providing support to Principal in relation to client management and achieving team objectives

Applicants:

Experience working in a similar capacity in Business Services/Tax in Australia

CA/CPA qualified

Strong technical understanding of SME matters and able to advise on related issues

Demonstrated experience managing own clients and a team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Solutions-oriented mindset and able to articulate information of varying complexities to stakeholders effectively
