The Firm

A highly reputable 5-partner mid-tier Sydney firm is actively seeking a Senior Manager to join a dedicated tax and corporate advisory team. The right candidate has excellent professional acumen and extensive experience within tax and business advisory of an Australian public practice.
You will be an outgoing individual who is confident in building a personal brand that represents the firm, as you identify, pursue, and convert new business development opportunities.
A sense of culture is imperative to the organisation. There is a heavy focus on training and development, and opportunities to attend domestic and international conferences. Work-life balance is the norm, and you can work from home 2 days a week.

The Role

• Take on a portfolio of $1.2mil in fees, servicing quality clients across corporate finance, private clients, international transfer, estates and farming, advertising, tech, and ASX listed companies
• You will be second in command to the Partner, and oversee a team of 10 staff, from managers to juniors
• Advanced stakeholder management
• Provide business advisory services to clients including benchmarking, cashflow, budgeting & forecasting
• Build and grow the firm through business development

The Person

• CA qualification
• 7-10 years of recent and extensive professional services firm experience, preferably from a Top 100 Australian public practice
• Extensive experience providing advisory services to clients
• Experience managing a large team of staff of all levels
• Superb computer literacy, verbal and written communication skills
• Australian permanent residency and be onshore
• Proven experience sourcing new business development opportunities
