Our client is a well-established public practice firm offering a full suite of business services and advisory. They take pride in providing tailored advice to their clients while fostering a culture of professional growth and collaboration within their team.

This is an opportunity for a Business Services Manager to take on a leadership role, overseeing a client portfolio approx. $1M in fees while managing and developing a team of accountants. You will be responsible for delivering expert taxation, business advisory, and tax planning services, optimizing processes, and driving strategic initiatives within the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing a diverse client base, including HNWIs, SMEs and large private companies

Reviewing and finalizing financial statements and tax returns

Advising clients on complex tax matters, including FBT and Div 7A

Leading business advisory projects, including succession planning cash flow forecasting, and business structuring advice

Maintain regular and proactive communication with clients

Monitoring KPIs, WIP and deadlines

Supervise and review the work of junior to senior accountants, supporting their professional development

Who We’re Looking For:

CA/CPA qualified

At least 5 years of experience within an Australian public practice firm

Experience with training and reviewing the work of accountants

Proficiency in cloud-based accounting software Xero/XPM and MYOB AE/AO

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
