Are you an experienced Joinery Estimator looking to work with a reputable and forward-thinking company? Core Talent are currently seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated estimator to join our clients team and play a key role in pricing and securing commercial and high-end residential joinery projects.

About the Role:

As a Joinery Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates on a variety of projects including kitchens, custom cabinetry, office fit-outs, and commercial joinery. You'll work closely with the project management and production teams to ensure all estimates align with project specifications and time lines.

Salary: $120K - $140K + Super

Key Responsibilities:

Interpreting architectural and joinery plans, specifications, and project scopes.

Performing detailed take-offs and cost analysis.

Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors for quotes and pricing.

Preparing and submitting tenders, BOQs, and pricing schedules.

Maintaining and updating costing databases and systems.

Assisting with project handovers to ensure a smooth transition from estimating to delivery.

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in joinery estimating (minimum 3+ years).

Strong understanding of joinery manufacturing processes and materials.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.

High attention to detail and accuracy in calculations.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Trade background or qualification in cabinetmaking/joinery is highly desirable.
