A leading Queensland State Government Department is seeking a Construction Estimator to join their team to support high-quality estimates and tender documentation for a wide range of building projects.

About the Role

As a Construction Estimator, you will play a vital role in the planning and delivery of building projects across various government projects. This is a detail-oriented and administration-heavy position, ideally suited for someone with strong computer skills and experience with contracts or tenders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assessing and preparing accurate and timely estimates, quotations, and project trade packages; including material lists and construction programs.
• Producing high quality tender and quotation documentation for building projects.
• Working effectively with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to maximise service delivery, achieve business costs savings and satisfy client requirements.
• Provide clear and concise reporting on estimating projects and programs.
• Utilising estimating computer packages to ensure consistency and best practice in the provision of client quotations.
• Foster strong client relationships.

What We're Looking For

• CostX knowledge or experience is highly desirable.
• Prior experience with contract management or tendering processes is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, and organisational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a project team environment.
• A proactive and professional approach to client engagement and project delivery.
