Client Details
Michael Page is partnering with a long-established aged care provider with experience delivering residential care across Western Australia and Victoria. Their services include permanent residential aged care, dementia care, respite care, and palliative care. Their team includes registered nurses, allied health professionals, and dedicated care staff who work together to ensure residents receive high-quality care in a safe and welcoming environment.
Description
The key responsbailties are:
Coordinating all aspects of pre-employment and onboarding processes, including medicals, reference checks, employment agreements, and system setup
Posting job advertisements, scheduling interviews, and supporting general recruitment coordination
Drafting employee letters, including extensions, role changes, salary adjustments, and terminations
Supporting employee relations matters in collaboration with the HR Advisor.
Assisting in employee on boarding and off boarding, ensuring a seamless experience
Maintaining accurate employee records and updating details.
Compiling HR reports and preparing regular updates for internal stakeholders.
Managing the HR and Recruitment inboxes, and maintaining internal registers.
Reviewing and maintaining HR templates and documentation to ensure consistency and compliance.
Identifying and implementing process improvements to streamline HR operations.
Responding to HR-related queries and providing general administrative support.
Profile
A successful HR Generalist should have:
- A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
- Previous experience in a generalist HR role within a similar environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
