- Part-time (0.5 FTE) appointment on a 16-month fixed term basis, based at any RCSWA site across WA (location negotiable).
- Base salary range: $95,231 – $100,643 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.
About the area
The Rural Clinical School of WA (RCSWA) is a collaboration between UWA, Notre Dame, and Curtin universities to improve rural health outcomes by training future doctors across 15 regional sites. With strong links to the UWA Medical School and School of Indigenous Studies, RCSWA is committed to culturally safe medical education, as reflected in its Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) and strong partnerships with local Aboriginal communities.
About the opportunity
- Lead community engagement and Reconciliation activities across RCSWA’s WA-wide network.
- Build relationships with Aboriginal health organisations and support culturally appropriate medical education.
- Promote knowledge-sharing, student pathways, and cultural learning initiatives for staff and students.
About you
- Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person with relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience.
- Strong interpersonal and community engagement skills, with cultural sensitivity and awareness.
- Proven ability to support Reconciliation goals and collaborate across education and health sectors.
- Skilled in facilitating programs, managing feedback and reporting outcomes.
- Well-organised, team-oriented, and confident working independently in a rural setting.

- Current Working with Children Check at the time of application.
- “C” class driver’s licence (manual/4WD preferred).
- Occasional travel, after-hours and weekend work may be required.
