The Role
Reporting directly into the Deputy Director of Payroll, your duties will include the following:

• Lead the development and management of the payroll compliance and governance
• Maintain integrity of payroll data and conduct robust audit processes
• Interpret complex awards and enterprise agreement provisions
• Oversee Single Touch Payroll (STP) validation and back‑pay calculations
• Guide, support, and foster development of a staff member

Candidate Profile

The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar senior payroll position that includes the following:

• Extensive end-to-end payroll and compliance experience
• Ideally exposure to healthcare or a similar industry
• Prior experience in interpreting EBAs and awards
• Strong attention to detail
• Intermediate to advanced excel skills
• Excellent time management skills
