Multinational, ASX listed technology business

Exposure to senior leadership, working closely with Group CFO

$120k - $130k + Super

This market leading technology business are at the forefront of their field, breaking into overseas markets through their innovation and continuous improvement. With their customers in mind, their ability to stay ahead of their competition is allowing them to go from strength to strength. Reporting into a talented Financial Controller, this Group Accountant is a newly created role, with duties including:

Preparation of half year and year end consolidated group financial statements

Preparation of month end revenue and CFO packs

Ownership of ASX reporting requirements

Prepare Australian and regional accounting tax calculations for half year and year end

Lead on the annual audit process

Review weekly cashflow forecast

Provide support and guidance to Assistant Accountant

Other ad-hoc financial requirements

The successful candidate will be CA or CPA qualified, and have spent 5+ years in a financial reporting role for a large, complex organisation. Prior experience in an ASX listed business would be advantageous. This person will be comfortable with working autonomously in producing financial reports, and have demonstrated experience in preparation of financial statements and tax calculations.
