Pre-Construction Leader
Are you a strategic thinker with deep estimating experience and strong commercial acumen? Our client is seeking a Pre-Construction Leader to play a pivotal role across business development, tendering, and early-stage project strategy. This client facing role is a senior leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys driving project wins and guiding estimating teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the pre-construction and estimating function across commercial projects

Prepare, review and submit accurate cost plans, tenders, and value management strategies

Work closely with directors, designers, subcontractors, and consultants to develop innovative, cost-effective solutions

Identify and pursue new business opportunities in line with company strategy

Support the bid process through client engagement, proposal development and presentations

Provide leadership and mentoring to junior estimators and pre-construction team members

Prevent incidents and issues by proper planning and monitoring of the projects.

What You Bring

Bachelor or Diploma of Building, Quantity Surveying or Construction Management

Minimum 7+ years' experience in estimating

Proven track record of winning and delivering successful tenders across a range of project types

Strong understanding of construction methodologies, costing, procurement and contracts

A strategic mindset with a keen eye for risk, margin, and opportunity

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with clients, stakeholders and internal teams

Experience in business development or client-facing roles is highly desirable
