We're now looking for a Field Operations Supervisor to help drive service excellence and ensure the smooth coordination of materials testing across our operational footprint.

The Opportunity

As the Field Operations Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing the scheduling and coordination of field-testing services. You'll liaise directly with customers, internal stakeholders, and third-party contractors to ensure testing services are delivered efficiently, meet quality standards (including NATA accreditation), and exceed customer expectations.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys bringing structure and foresight to day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and review a pipeline of testing services to maximise revenue and service delivery.

Develop strong relationships with customers to understand and meet their project needs.

Coordinate testing resourcing across internal Field Testers and external subcontractors.

Monitor and adjust daily allocations based on order changes and demand fluctuations.

Optimise the use of internal assets and reduce reliance on third-party testing services.

Support tender reviews and safety planning for upcoming jobs.

Ensure compliance with NATA standards and AS1379 Quality Control processes.

Promote and enforce Zero Harm principles relating to safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Experience & Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years' experience in a technical or operational role within the construction materials industry.

Background in concrete or aggregate sampling/testing is highly desirable.

Qualifications in logistics, engineering, or science are advantageous.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong coordination and multi-tasking capabilities.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), and database applications.

Ability to interpret and work within budgets and service cost parameters.

A proactive and customer-focused approach.
