Our client is a fast-growing electrical contractor delivering premium automation, electrical, and security solutions for Melbourne’s leading custom home builders. With more than 80 live jobs at any time and an experienced Director at the helm, they are now seeking a Field Operations Supervisor to take ownership of site operations, team leadership, and quality control across their projects.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Director, this is a full-time, leadership-focused role overseeing multiple field teams delivering electrical services for new homes (ranging from $500k to $3.5M builds). You’ll be responsible for:

• Leading and supporting a team of 4 x A-Grade Electricians, 1 x L-Grade, and 8 x Apprentices
• Setting the standard for on-site workmanship, troubleshooting issues, and liaising directly with builders
• Driving a high-performance culture and lifting morale across the team
• Conducting quality checks and ensuring work is completed right the first time
• Using initiative to structure your own day, prioritise tasks, and make decisions in the field
• Working closely with the Director to continuously improve processes, systems, and culture

What You’ll Bring

• A-Grade Electrical Licence
• Experience leading field teams on residential construction sites
• High standards, initiative, and strong problem-solving skills
• The ability to build trust with trades, apprentices, and clients
• Confidence to act as the go-between for site teams and builders
• Experience with SimPRO, SafetyCulture, and Slack is a bonus, but not essential
