Location: Sydney (Hybrid/Remote options available)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $70,000 to $85,000 per annum plus superannuation

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead and drive the strategic growth of Allied X. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building partnerships with referrers and healthcare providers, and expanding our client base within the NDIS, aged care, private, and insurance sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with Allied X’s growth objectives
Identify and secure new referral sources, partnerships, and business opportunities across sectors (NDIS, aged care, private health)
Strengthen and manage relationships with external stakeholders, including Support Coordinators, Plan Managers, Residential Aged Care providers, hospitals, GPs, and insurers
Collaborate with internal teams (clinical, marketing, operations) to deliver tailored service proposals and solutions
Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify growth areas and opportunities
Attend industry events, expos, and networking opportunities to promote Allied X services and grow the brand footprint
Prepare business proposals, contracts, and service agreements
Report on pipeline progress, KPIs, and revenue growth forecasts to senior management
Key Requirements
Proven experience in a similar business development, partnerships, or sales role within the healthcare or allied health industry
Strong understanding of the NDIS, aged care, and private healthcare systems in Australia
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a natural ability to build rapport
Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and a results-driven mindset
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver outcomes within deadlines
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Current driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed
Desirable
Tertiary qualification in business, healthcare management, or a related field
Experience using CRMs (e.g., Splose, Employment Hero) and digital reporting tools
