We’re seeking two dedicated and capable local residents to join The Pittard Rush Group at the Airlie Beach Lagoon in dual-role positions involving weekday lifeguarding and weekend supervision.

📌 POSITION 1:

Weekend A.M. Lifeguard Supervisor + Weekday Lifeguard Shifts

Supervisor Hours: Saturday & Sunday (Morning Shifts)

Lifeguard Hours: Monday to Friday (Various Shifts)

📌 POSITION 2:

Weekend P.M. Lifeguard Supervisor + Weekday Lifeguard Shifts

Supervisor Hours: Saturday & Sunday (Afternoon Shifts)

Lifeguard Hours: Monday to Friday (Various Shifts)

These roles are ideal for motivated individuals looking to step into leadership while maintaining regular operational hours across the week. You’ll play a key part in delivering a safe and professional experience to all patrons at one of Queensland’s most iconic aquatic facilities.

✅ KEY REQUIREMENTS

To be considered for either position, candidates must:

Be a local resident

Have a proven history of leading small teams (for the supervisory component)

Demonstrate a proactive, responsible, and safety-focused approach

Be adaptable, a quick thinker, and team-oriented

Be available for early morning and/or late afternoon shifts between 5:30am–7:00pm

Have own transport and be punctual and reliable

Understand basic Work Health and Safety responsibilities

Be willing to commit to:

Initial training in early September 2025

Ongoing internal upskilling during the first two weeks of employment

Regular monthly internal professional development sessions

🎓 MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS (Must be held prior to commencement):

Current HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid

Current HLTAID009 – Provide CPR

Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate

Current QLD Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
