Warehouse Supervisor required $40.25 p/h

The Opportunity

We’re after a motivated, team-oriented individual to take on an Operations Supervisor role at our Mount Isa site. This isn’t your typical desk job — you’ll be hands-on, helping to run the day-to-day action across warehousing and transport, while also acting as the Branch Manager’s right-hand person when needed. If you enjoy variety, teamwork, and getting stuck in, this could be a great fit.

Every day will be different — from overseeing truck departures in the early hours, to supporting the crew on the ground, managing stock, and keeping everything moving safely and efficiently. It’s the kind of job where your leadership really makes a difference.

What You’ll Be Getting Involved In

· Starting early (around 5 AM) to make sure trucks are loaded, checked, and out the gate on time

· Running the show on the warehouse floor — supervising goods in/out, helping with dispatch, and supporting the transport schedule

· Guiding a close-knit team of around 10, including drivers and warehouse crew

· Staying on top of inventory accuracy, stock checks, and the flow of reporting

· Keeping the workplace safe, compliant, and ready for action every day

· Taking the lead when the Branch Manager’s off-site or unavailable

Who We’re Looking For

This role suits someone who’s got a solid background in warehouse or delivery logistics. If you’ve worked with refrigerated goods or cold storage, that’s a definite plus. You’ll also need to bring:

· Great organisational skills and a proactive approach to keeping things on track

· Leadership experience — or the confidence to step up and guide a team

· A strong work ethic and physical stamina (you’re not afraid to pitch in where needed)

· A forklift licence would be handy (LF) or willingness to obtain , and if you’ve worked with budgets or reports, even better — but it’s not a deal-breaker

What You’ll Bring to the Table

We’re after someone with hands-on experience in warehousing, logistics, or transport. Experience with refrigerated goods or cold storage is a bonus. To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

· Strong organisational skills and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset

· Confidence to lead a team, even if it’s your first time in a formal leadership role

· A strong work ethic and willingness to roll up your sleeves when needed

· A current forklift licence (LF) would be great but not essential as you can obtain this after your start

· Exposure to basic reporting or budgeting is helpful but not essential
