The Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Office Administrator to join our friendly team. You will be a valuable part of our team and have the ability to work autonomously and maintain our successful company reputation.
This role will be unique in that it requires a person who has both the skills and motivation to perform more technical aspects of the role while at the same time being prepared to carry out more basic process orientated tasks. For example, this role will be required to learn the functionality of our Job Management System.
Please note, this is a full-time position and the successful candidate will be required to work in the office 5 days a week.
Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to)
To be the internal expert of our job management software system. (training will be required)
Assisting the Operations Manager with daily scheduling tasks.
Setting up new incoming jobs into our job management system.
Reconciling timesheets to the job schedule.
Preparing payroll data.
Direct communication with the Director & Managers.
General Data Entry.
Filing and scanning confidential documents.
Providing customer support.
Assisting our Management Team.
Essential Skills & Experience
At least 5 years experience as an administrator.
Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
The ability to multitask and work in a team environment.
Have the willingness to learn new software systems.
Strong attention to detail and data entry skills.
Excellent time management skills.
Excellent computer skills, proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite.
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Have the ability to work autonomously.
Desirable but not essential
Has experience in a similar role in a trades based business.
This role will be ideal for someone who enjoys taking responsibility for scheduling day to day jobs, administrative functions and like to work as part of a small dynamic office team.
The salary package offered will be commensurate with the skills and experience of the successful applicant.
