Are you a skilled Leading Hand Carpenter ready to lead high-end residential projects? We’re a boutique construction company delivering architectural renovations and custom new builds across Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. We’re seeking a reliable, experienced subcontractor to help us deliver outstanding results — on time and to the highest standard.

About the Role:

As a Leading Hand, you’ll oversee small teams on-site, coordinate trades, and take a hands-on role in delivering precision carpentry. You’ll work closely with our site supervisors and project managers to maintain quality, drive productivity, and push project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage small site teams

Read and interpret architectural plans and documentation

Perform all aspects of high-end residential carpentry

Liaise with supervisors, clients, and other trades on-site

Ensure quality finishes and site safety at all times

Push project deadlines and keep teams on track

Maintain clean, compliant and well-organised workspaces

What You’ll Need:

Trade qualified carpenter with minimum 5 years’ experience

Proven background in high-end residential construction

Strong leadership, time management, and communication skills

Keen eye for detail and craftsmanship

Valid driver’s licence

Own reliable transport

Full set of tools

ABN and public liability insurance

Professional presentation and positive work ethic
