Taylor Carpentry Holdings Pty Ltd are seeking experienced and knowledgeable Carpenter's to join us on a full-time basis, commencing on a project on Oxford Street in Darlinghurst.

Duties & responsibilities:

Perform structural floor framing tasks in accordance with project specifications and safety standards

Carry out restoration work on existing timber windows to preserve structural integrity and aesthetic value

Install new timber windows, ensuring proper alignment, sealing, and secure fit

Interpret and apply drawings and instructions received from the leading hand

Execute structural carpentry work based on provided construction documentation

Coordinate installation and restoration activities to meet project timelines and quality standards

Promptly communicate progress and any issues encountered to the leading hand or site supervisor

Adhere to site-specific safety procedures and building codes

Experience & attributes:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a professional Carpenter

Strong technical know-how and in-depth knowledge of carpentry construction procedures

Proficiency using carpentry tools and equipment in line with safety guidelines

Team player with good communication skills to share knowledge with colleagues and apprentices

Good physical strength, stamina, and dexterity

Ability to work effectively in various weather conditions

Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings

Great problem-solving abilities
